Return Policy

At Engagement Rings Australia we appreciate how difficult it can be to purchase over the internet. Even though we attempt to make this purchase as easy and pleasurable as possible for you, we understand that you may receive your item of jewellery and like with any purchase, when you try it on at home, you are just not 100% satisfied. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from us and therefore if for any reason you are not, we are happy for you to return your item of jewellery for an exchange or refund. That is why we offer our customers the opportunity to exchange or receive a full refund within 30 days from the date of shipment.
In order to exchange of refund your item of jewellery please follow the following steps:

Please email or call us prior to posting anything to us. We will provide you with postage details once we have spoken with you.
Package your jewellery item(s) with all the original paperwork you received with your purchase in a plainly wrapped cardboard box (available at the post office).
Send the package using Australian Platinum overnight service or Registered Mail; we have deemed this the safest way to return high value items. Please note we are not responsible for items damaged while shipping.
Contact us with the tracking number immediately after the package has been sent, so we can ensure the package is insured. If you do not provide us with this information and the package is lost or stolen we are not liable.

Note: Please be careful NOT to write diamond, jewellery or other luxury-related words anywhere on the package as this invites possible theft. Once we have received the package we will notify you to inform you of its arrival. Conditions of Return:
Returns are simple, but are subject to certain rules:

The item must be received by Engagement Ring Australia WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS of shipment if you would like the refund to occur.
All items must be returned in the same condition as received from Engagement Ring Australia. Any returns that have been engraved, altered, resized (by a jeweller other than Engagement Ring Australia), or damaged will not be accepted for return.
For diamond returns, the original gemological laboratory certificate that was issued with the diamond needs to be returned as well. A charge will be incurred if the certificate has been lost.
If you received a gift that was purchased at Engagement Ring Australia and wish to return it, you can exchange the item. However, if you wish to return the gift for a refund, please note that the refund will be issued to the gift purchaser and not the recipient.
Refunds will only be issued once our laboratory assesses and verifies the condition of the item. Returns can take approximately up to 10 business days to process once the item(s) have been received.

We are happy to exchange items, but these also must occur within THIRTY (30) DAYS of shipment.
